Qormi Bread Festival 2014
Description:
On the eve of Lejl Casal Fornaro, Her Excellency the President of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca will inaugurate the 13th edition of The Bread Festival. This festival is being given a new dimension, being held in St Paul’s Square in Main Street some metres away from the Qormi Police Station. A huge form of the Maltese Cross made of various types of traditional Maltese bread will be sold whilst a competition for the best Biskuttini tar-Raħal will also be held this year. All food stands will be somewhat pertinent to the Maltese loaf.
All proceeds from this activity will be donated to the Community Chest Fund.
Free parking at Pavi Supermarket.
