Will Guthrie, an acclaimed Australian drummer and percussionist, is known for blending traditional drumming with unconventional elements like amplified found objects. With a career spanning solo performances and collaborations on renowned labels such as Black Truffle and Editions Mego, Guthrie’s innovative approach extends to his leadership of Ensemble Nist-Nah, a contemporary percussion and Indonesian gamelan group.

Opening the night is Malta’s own Benji Cachia, professionally known as Banjo Rancho. With over two decades of experience, Cachia has shared the stage with renowned artists and is recognized for his impeccable rhythmic concepts, effortlessly blending metal, jazz, and Indian percussion influences.

Adding a unique visual and physical dimension to the performance is Sarah Vella, a Maltese dance artist and choreographer whose work spans stage, film, opera, and site-specific performances. Her choreography, deeply influenced by her therapeutic practice, emphasizes authenticity and improvisation, making this an immersive and captivating experience.
