For the first time ever, Trikki Trakki embraces a thrilling new theme: Victorian Gothic Horror. Prepare for spine-chilling adaptations of literary classics like Jekyll and Hyde, Frankenstein, The Invisible Man, The Goblin Market, The Tell-Tale Heart, and The Shadow Over Innsmouth.

This year’s festival takes storytelling to the next level, blending puppetry, original music, eerie underwater creatures, and spine-tingling theatrics to create an unforgettable, edge-of-your-seat experience.

Leading the festival are six visionary directors: Miguel Formosa, Philip Leone-Ganado, Zoe Camilleri, Philippa Naudi, Joseph Zammit, and Isabelle Gatt. Their work is supported by Simone Spiteri’s surtitling and translation, along with Chris Vella’s hauntingly original music compositions, bringing these Gothic tales to life in a truly magical way.
