Museums by Candlelight Birgu

After the incredible success of our previous event in October, which drew thousands of locals and tourists, we’re once again opening the doors to Malta’s rich cultural heritage for all to enjoy.

This special evening will highlight three iconic sites — the Malta Maritime Museum, the Inquisitor’s Palace, and Fort St Angelo — welcoming visitors at a reduced rate of just €3 for access to all three. Each location will come alive with a magical atmosphere, enhanced by captivating entertainment throughout the night.

The sites will open their doors at 7:00 pm and remain accessible until midnight, offering a rare chance to explore these historic landmarks under the soft, flickering glow of candlelight and torches.

Guests will also have the opportunity to visit three remarkable exhibitions currently on display, each perfectly set against the backdrop of these unique and storied spaces. Don’t miss this enchanting night of history, culture, and discovery!
