MALTA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL 4th May 2019 Magic Violin Orchestral Concert Mediterranean Conference Centre – Valletta One of South Korea’s most famous violinists Ji Young Lim, who became a star since she won the first prize of Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2015, will perform Alexey Shor's Seascapes and Flight of the Falcon, in an orchestral concert with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of internationally acclaimed Armenian conductor Sergey Smbatyan at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, in a very varied programme which will also include the Overture to Shor’s Crystal Palace Ballet, and which comes to a fitting finale with Dvorak’s famous ‘From the New World’ 9th Symphony.
