Adelante

Deborah McNamara School of Dance is delighted to present Adelante performed by students of their Spanish Dance sector Estudio de Danza. The school will perform an array of exciting dances from the Iberian peninsula including Danza Estilizada, Flamenco to live guitar and Escuela Bolera choreographed by Deborah McNamara, Robert Scicluna and Roxana Dimech. Marisa Baldachino has choreographed a contemporary opening number with a Spanish flavour.

The performance will feature flamenco guitarist Alejandro de Chacon from Spain. Guest artists include Deborah Falzon performing a Solea por Buleria and Campañia Danza members performing Danza Estilizada to El Baile de Luis Alonso. Roxana Dimech will also perform a Fantango choreographed by Celia Pareja. Other Spanish choreographies performed by Campañia Danza youth theatre Include works by renowned flamenco stars Angel Muñoz and Pillar Ogalla.
