Premiere of THE BOAT

‘THE BOAT’ Debuts in Maltese Cinemas Following an acclaimed run on the US film festival circuit last September, Latina Pictures is thrilled to announce that their full-length feature film THE BOAT will have a red-carpet premiere on 22 February. The film will then be on general release from 27 February, exclusively at Eden Cinemas. THE BOAT – written, produced and directed by Winston Azzopardi, and co-produced by and starring his son Joe Azzopardi – successfully delivers 90 minutes of nail-biting tension. It skilfully blends together all the ingredients necessary for a first-rate psychological thriller as a fisherman sets out for an idyllic day at sea only to end up battling an unseen antagonist against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. The premiere event is open to the general public and will feature a Q&A with the Azzopardis, moderated by Jo Caruana, immediately afterwards. Tickets are at €10.
