You've been told a hundred times that exercise is good for you, and it's true, but it's good for a lot more than just losing weight or building muscle. This event has been organizing to encourage people of all ages to exercise regularly to improve their health and fitness.
It has been proven that exercise is extremely beneficial to our daily routine. It’s great at boosting our confidence whilst reducing stress, making us feel energized, improving productivity, helping us sleep better and avoiding sickness. All this generally leads to a healthier lifestyle which leads to a much happier you!
Whether you are a beginner or an athlete as long as you’re up for the 5K challenge we encourage you to participate. No pressure! You can walk the route, jog or run. The aim of the event is for you to challenge yourself to improve your health and fitness. A trail around the Ta’ Qali Park was carefully chosen to ensure safety and also due to its familiarity with everyone and the ample parking it provides.
The event will kick off on the 13th of January at 8am and will be held every Saturday that follows. It is not obligatory to participate every week, join us whenever you can and turn it into an outing by bringing your friends and family along.
