De-terminated: The Abortion Diaries
Description:
Premiering in October, ‘De-terminated’ weaves out the intolerance, the frustration and cacophony eclipsing the abortion issue in Malta. Based on one-on-one interviews carried out in 2017, the one-act play brings out the stark reality of a dilemma often played out behind the scenes. With the strictest abortion laws in the world, is Malta suppressing women’s rights or is the country really preventing murder of the unborn?
