“If you love great poetry and great music, art songs are for you.” A selection of the most beautiful art songs for voice, harp and cello, as well as some of the repertoire’s most famous pieces for cello and harp, including music by Strauss, Duparc, Tosti and Fauré. The strong feeling of intimacy between the performers allows them to reflect the emotions within the poems and music, and impart these delicate emotions to the audience. This concert forms part of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra’s Chamber Music Series.
