ARS Electronica: u19 Create Your World Tour

The Create Your World Tour is the presentation of an open workshop programme for schools, generated out of a selection of projects from the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria. Its aim was to have direct contact between artists and the schools. The programme was open exclusively from Austria to Malta and this event features presentations by prize-winners. This collaboration gave the opportunity to these young artists to bring their ideas to fruition – using various forms of digital or other media – and to present them to the public. In this way, the projects developed offer a wide representation of developments in society, art and technology.

The final workshop of the u19 will be about CODING (lead by Raphael Schwarz from the CoderDojos) and the last presentation on the 30th of June will be held by last year’s Nica-Winner Jonas Bodingbauer. He will present his project “Die Entscheidung” – a computergame, which he developed and for which he realized the technical aspects as well as the content.
