4th edition of Ballet Intensive International - Malta's biggest ballet event of the year!
A pre-professional, 2-week ballet intensive for ages 10+ with the classes incorporating classical ballet technique, repertoire, solo variations & performance skills, contemporary dance, body conditioning/ stretching, pointe work* and tutorials. While, Malta, a sunny island in the heart of the Mediterranean is an ideal location to combine your perfect summer vacation. Programme includes international guest teachers each year, previous teachers have included rising stars from The Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Staatsballett Berlin, Dutch National Ballet.
International guest teachers for summer 2017 include, soloist at The Royal Swedish Ballet, Luiza Lopes & artist Maria Andres Betoret, from Stuttgart Ballet. The programme also offers 1 awarded international vocational scholarship (2016, Elmhurst School for Dance, 2017 TBA), 1 awarded Ballet Intensive International scholarship (2018) & 1 great performance opportunity.
