Sax and Opera: No Way!
Description:
The Strada Stretta Concept, under the auspices of the Valletta 2018 Foundation, present, Sax and Opera: No Way!, under the artistic direction of Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci. The event features Ukrainian soprano Maryana Bodnar, accompanied by saxophonist Carlo Muscat, for an evening of classical music. The classical repertoire includes: C.Gounod, "O Dieu! Que de bijoux"; Massenet, "Il est doux...il est bon"; G.Rossini, "Assisa a’pie’ d’un salice"; A. Dvorak, "Mesicku na nebi hlubokem"; Saint-Saëns, "Mon coeur s'ouvre a ta voix"; The event will be held near LAB Crossover Bar, Strada Stretta.
